• GLADorSAD Demonstrator 
  You can have your own photo's analyzed by sophisticated emotion recognition software, and the mystery of emotions will be explained to you
• Interactive Video Retrieval System 
  System based on Schema and MPEG-7 XM for the participation in CIVR 2008 VideOlympics.
• MEDIAMILL Demonstrator 
  The MediaMill semantic video search engine is bridging the gap between research and applications. It integrates the state-of-the-art techniques developed at the Intelligent Systems Lab Amsterdam of the University of Amsterdam and applies it to realistic problems in video indexing.
• MILOS Photo Book 
  MILOS Multimedia Content Management System is a general purpose software component tailored to support design and effective implementation of digital library applications. MILOS supports the storage and content based retrieval of any multimedia documents whose descriptions are provided by using arbitrary metadata models represented in XML. MILOS is flexible in the management of documents containing different types of data and content descriptions; it is efficient and scalable in the storage and content based retrieval of these documents.

• MUFFIN Search 
  An online content-based similarity search demo in 50 million Flicker images is now available as a web application from http://mufin.fi.muni.cz/search/. The queries are executed by the Multi Feature Indexing Network (MUFIN) on a collection of five MPEG-7 global descriptors (Color Structure, Color Layout, Scalable Color,Edge Histogram, and Homogeneous Texture) obtained from the Content-based Photo Image Retrieval (CoPhiR) Test-Collection http://cophir.isti.cnr.it/. However, MUFIN (http://mufin.fi.muni.cz) is general purpose similarity search engine and can be applied to any data with metric properties. • Search In Audio Visual Content Using Peer-to-peer IR 
  This project provides information on a special similarity search system, based on the MPEG-7 Visual Descriptors. ISTI-CNR developed this system for a coat of arms collection (2800 images) of Florentine families owned by the Max Planck Kunsthistorische Institute in Florence. Related papers have been presented at the EVA Conference 2007 in Florence and at the ISI 2007 Conference in Koeln.
• VICTORY Project Demonstrator 
  The tool performs 3D content-based search and retrieval of (geometrically) similar 3D models. The search and retrieval of 3D content is based on low-level (geometric) features.
• Visual Recognition 
  Visual Recognition is a company that has been established to commercially exploit promising research from the ISLA Laboratory at the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
  On the demo page you will find several video-clips of software we have created to demonstrate the emotion recognition technology. You will find emotion driven PONG (the classic video game) and an avatar that is displaying the visual expression of somebody in front of a webcam in real-time.
